The Utrecht Excellence Scholarship 2024-2025 is a master’s degree scholarship for international students. There are a total of 25 available scholarships. This scholarship covers all of the tuition fee as well as a £11,000 grant for living expenses. The Utrecht Excellence Scholarship (UES) provides a number of international students from outside the European Economic Area with the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree at Utrecht University in a variety of fields.

Benefits of the Utrecht Excellence Scholarships 2024:

The Utrecht Scholarship 2024 will cover the following;

Full Tuition Fees OR
It will cover the entire tuition fee or the tuition fee plus the residential study permit for one year.

Eligibility Criteria of the Utrecht Excellence Scholarships 2024:

Candidates must have graduated in the top 10% of their class.
Candidates must not be EU/EEA citizens.
Candidates should not need help with loans or grants from the Dutch system.
Candidates must have completed a secondary or bachelor’s degree outside of the Netherlands.
You must have applied for an eligible international master’s program start on September 1, 2024.

How to Apply for Utrecht Excellence Scholarship?

Submit an application for a Master’s program first; if you do not do so, your scholarship application will be deleted.
Complete the following steps to submit a complete application for the selected Master program:
- Check the admissions requirements for this Master’s program.
- Apply as soon as possible, preferably well before the deadline; see ‘When to apply’ for the specific master program.
- Download the application instructions for the master’s program.
- Complete the online application at Studielink.
- You will be sent an email with login information for the OSIRIS Online Application, where you can upload the necessary documents. You can also check the status of your application in the OSIRIS Online Application.
- Pay payment for the application fee.
After applying for the Master’s program, you will have the option of applying for an Utrecht Excellence Scholarship start November 1.
- Please note that if the Master program deadline falls after the scholarship deadline, you must submit your Master program application before the scholarship deadline to be considered.
You can access Osiris Online Application after submitting an application for a Master’s program.
- Enter your Osiris username and password.
- Select the ‘New application’ link.
- Answer the questions about the Utrecht Excellence scholarship and upload the required document(s).
You must upload the following document:
Proof of graduation from the top 10% of your class (an official document issued by your university).
